Saturday, August 29th from 2-4 we’ll be pulling out the markers and posters to create signs for the upcoming Bi + Pan March at Atlanta Pride in October. We will have plenty of sign making supplies but you are welcome to bring your own as well— magenta, blue, purple, and yellow markers are often high in demand.
We will also be assembling goody bags to hand out during the Atlanta Pride Parade and signing up volunteers to march with us the day of the parade!
This is indoors and a masks required event unless drinking/snacking; if you don’t have a mask we can provide one!
We will be meeting in the Commons Room at the Neighborhood Church, which is located in the Candler Park neighborhood and is at 1561 McLendon Ave NE, Atlanta GA 30306. The church’s parking lot is located off of Mell Ave and there is also two accessible parking spots in front of the church. This location is also a few blocks from MARTA’s Candler Park/Edgewood station.
The easiest entrance to access the Commons Room is the ramped church entrance past the playground in the back by the parking lot. There is a gate but we will have that open. From that entrance you can make a right and walk down the steps to the commons or you can take the elevator which brings you a half floor down to where we are.
